These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and its content. They also apply when you contact Gehad El-Sobky (“I”, “me” or “my”) about consulting, coaching, mentoring, training or related professional services.
By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you use the website on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organisation. If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the website.
Purpose of this website
This website provides general information about Gehad El-Sobky, the C.O.M.P.A.S.S. Framework and available professional services. Website content is provided for general business information and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, medical or other regulated professional advice.
You remain responsible for evaluating information in the context of your organisation and for obtaining appropriate specialist advice where needed. Decisions made using website content are made at your own discretion.
Professional services
Submitting a form, booking a call or requesting information does not by itself create a consultant-client, coach-client or other contractual relationship. A professional engagement begins only when its scope, responsibilities, fees, schedule and other relevant terms have been confirmed in writing.
A signed proposal, statement of work, engagement letter or other written agreement may contain terms specific to a service. If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement will take priority for that engagement.
Consulting and advisory work
Recommendations are based on the information available at the time and depend on the accuracy and completeness of information supplied by the client. Business conditions and outcomes may change, and no specific commercial, operational or financial result is guaranteed unless expressly stated in a signed agreement.
Coaching and mentoring
Coaching and mentoring support professional reflection, decision-making and development. They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy, legal advice or a substitute for services from an appropriately qualified professional. You remain responsible for your choices, actions and results.
Training
Training descriptions, learning outcomes, schedules and materials may be updated to maintain relevance or accommodate delivery requirements. Completion of a programme does not guarantee employment, promotion, certification or a particular business result unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.
Bookings, fees and cancellations
Availability displayed or discussed before confirmation is not guaranteed. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation and complete any required payment or acceptance step.
Fees, taxes, payment schedules, cancellation terms, rescheduling rules, expenses and refund arrangements will be stated in the relevant proposal, invoice, booking confirmation or service agreement. Where no separate cancellation term is provided, please give reasonable notice. I may reschedule a session where illness, travel disruption, force majeure or another event outside reasonable control makes delivery impracticable.
Your responsibilities
When using the website or enquiring about services, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, communicate respectfully, protect any access link or material provided to you, and avoid submitting confidential or sensitive information through an unsecured channel unless specifically requested.
For organisational engagements, you are responsible for ensuring that relevant participants are authorised to take part and that any information you provide about employees, customers or other individuals may lawfully be shared.
Acceptable use
You must not use this website to:
- Break any applicable law or encourage unlawful activity.
- Submit false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory or defamatory material.
- Transmit malware, malicious code, spam or other harmful communications.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, forms or connected systems.
- Interfere with website availability, security or normal operation.
- Scrape, copy or systematically extract content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
- Misrepresent an association with or endorsement by Gehad El-Sobky.
Access may be restricted or blocked where misuse, a security risk or a breach of these Terms is reasonably suspected.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website design, written content, graphics, branding, frameworks, presentations, tools, templates and training materials are owned by or licensed to Gehad El-Sobky and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and print a reasonable extract for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, license, modify, translate, distribute, frame or create derivative works from website or service materials without prior written permission, except where applicable law allows it.
The names “Gehad El-Sobky” and “C.O.M.P.A.S.S. Framework”, associated logos and other brand elements may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without written permission.
Client information and materials
You retain ownership of materials you provide for an enquiry or engagement. You grant permission to review and use those materials only as reasonably necessary to assess your request, provide agreed services and meet related legal or administrative obligations.
Confidentiality and ownership of deliverables created during a paid engagement will be governed by the relevant written agreement. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Accuracy and website availability
Reasonable efforts are made to keep website information accurate and useful, but content may occasionally be incomplete, outdated or contain an error. Content, service descriptions and availability may be corrected or changed without notice.
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. Continuous, uninterrupted, secure or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Access may be suspended for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.
Third-party websites and services
The website may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, booking tools, video platforms or other services. A link does not necessarily mean that I endorse or control that service. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and you use them at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this website, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data or anticipated savings.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability relating to a paid professional engagement will be governed by the applicable signed agreement.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims or reasonable costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the website, material you submit, or your deliberate breach of these Terms or another person’s rights.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the website, services, business practices or applicable requirements. The current version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will change when the page is revised. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to your subsequent use of the website.
Severability and waiver
If a provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
Governing law
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute relating only to website use will be subject to the competent courts of Egypt, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
